Congratulations to all of the winning Haunted Attractions in our OSCARE Awards. 

Categories and their respective winners are as follows:

• Best Home Haunt: Raven Haven
• Best Non-Profit Haunted Attraction: The Forbidden Realm
• Best: Haunted Hayride: Demon Acres
• Best Boo-for-your-Buck: CMC's Haunted House
• Best Overall Haunted Attraction in CNY / BEAST OF CUSE: Frightmare Farms

Winners are determined based on tabulated survey respondent results from a panel of Secret-Shoppers. These shoppers are from a cross-section of CNY and include everyone from hard-core haunt enthusiasts, to dating couples, to soccer moms, and everyone in between. They braved attractions on different nights, and at different times, to ensure consistency, and painstakingly answered more than 50 detailed questions on everything related to their experience from their arrival on an attractions premises, until their exit. Our panel LOVES haunted attractions, and they LOVE reporting the best and the worst things they experience so the winner is absolutely deserving of their recognition. It's difficult to not recognize ALL of the great Haunted Attractions we have here in Syracuse & Central New York. CNY is truly the place to be, at this time of year.
